Vanesa Fernández

Vanessa is 21 years old. She was born in Purepero de Echaiz, Michoacan, Mexico but moved to Oklahoma when she was 2. She attends school at Oklahoma Wesleyan University and will be graduating December 2023 with a bachelors in accounting and finance.

She was first introduced to Croquet by her business professor in 2019. She began to practice and quickly fell in love with the sport! OKWU won the collegiate tournament in 2022, while her doubles partner and her were runners up. She won her first singles tournament in 2023 at the NCC during the Annual Women's GC

Tournament! Croquet is so addictive; It incorporates strategy, but also skill and finesse! Strategy is no good if you can't make the balls go where you want them to!
